With the recent opening of our new office in Richmond, Virginia, we are hiring three design professionals to join our team. You have an intense passion (or keen interest) for health care design and its impact on improving the health, safety, and lives of patients, their families, and providers. We have a pretty cool office in Shockoe Bottom and positive team that works with clients from Virginia to West Virginia to Maryland and Pennsylvania. We’re excited about the future and can’t wait to meet you!

Project Architect

Experience:
o Eight to ten years of experience
o Analysis of client priorities and needs
o Concept development of architectural designs
o Preparation of presentation and design drawings
o Selection and knowledge of current and appropriate materials and products
o Effective communication with clients, consultants and internal teams
o Adherence to budget and client standards
o Assistance in the marketing of the firm’s services
o Must have excellent presentation development skills

Must develop creative and thorough design solutions

Qualifications (mandatory):
- Licensed (Registered Architect) in the State of Virginia (Pennsylvania and West Virginia also preferred)
- B.A. or M.S. in architecture or related discipline from accredited university
- AutoCAD/Revit
- Microsoft Office

Qualifications (preferred):
- SketchUp
- Adobe CC

Other Relevant Information:
1. This position is an EXEMPT position
2. Travel may be required on occasion.
3. This position is assigned to the Richmond office.
4. This position reports directly to the principal of health care

Project/Architectural Intern

Experience:
o Three to five years of experience, health care preferred (or desire to learn health care design)
o Analysis of client priorities and needs
o Concept development of architectural designs
o Preparation of presentation and design drawings
o Selection and knowledge of current and appropriate materials and products
o Effective communication with clients, consultants and internal teams
o Adherence to budget and client standards
o Assistance in the marketing of the firm’s services
o Must have excellent presentation development skills

Must develop creative and thorough design solutions

Qualifications (mandatory):
- B.A. or M.S. in architecture or related discipline from accredited university
- AutoCAD/Revit
- Microsoft Office

Qualifications (preferred):
- SketchUp
- Adobe CC

Other Relevant Information:
1. This position is a NON-EXEMPT position
2. Travel may be required on occasion.
3. This position is assigned to the Richmond office.
4. This position reports directly to the principal of health care

Interior Designer

Experience:
o Five to ten years of experience
o Analysis of client priorities and needs
o Conceptual development of interior designs
o Demonstrated knowledge of FF&E specifications, furniture and finish plans, elevations, sections and details
o Knowledge of building codes and ADA required
o Preparation of presentation and design drawings
o Selection and knowledge of current and appropriate materials and products
o Effective communication with clients, consultants and internal teams
o Adherence to budget and client standards
o Assistance in the marketing of the firm’s services
o Must have excellent presentation development skills
o Ability to translate owner’s brand and vision into the interior environment

Must develop creative and thorough design solutions

Qualifications (mandatory):
- B.A. or M.A. in interior design from an accredited university
- AutoCAD/Revit
- Microsoft Office

Qualifications (preferred):
- SketchUp
- Adobe CC
- Certified Interior Designer (CID)
- American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designer (AAHID) certification
