Delaware Valley College recognized the need to expand when student campus housing requests increased. The existing campus student housing was older and in need of renovations. A long term, two-phase plan was adopted to build a new residence hall to accommodate 300 students and eventually take older housing off line. The design concept focused on the sloping site and scenic views of the nearby countryside. The South Hall program includes laundry facilities, study rooms, common gathering spaces and four-person suites with individual bathrooms. The residence also contains a two-story common lounge, fitness room and computer lab.
