Senior Living

Noelker and Hull designed a replacement nursing home at Williamsport to achieve three owner-driven goals: to reduce overall beds, to add more private beds and to adopt a “greenhouse” ideology. The new two-story building features six pods, including five residentially-based neighborhoods with two serving memory support. Each pod offers a central dining and activity area that also serves as a nursing substation. Half of the resident rooms are private, with the remaining rooms separated in a toe-to-toe arrangement that can easily be converted into to two private rooms.
