K-12

Designed by Noelker and Hull’s Frederick, MD, office (formerly King, Asbury & Associates), South Hagerstown High School was a phased renovation with additions, and each phase was staged so that the school could remain operational through construction. The existing structure was comprised of seven separate buildings on several levels and the project was to consolidate the facility into a single unit. Following analysis, two outlying buildings were identified to be demolished. Connecting links were constructed among the five main buildings and new ADA compliant toilets, HVAC lofts, new classrooms, meeting rooms and a library were incorporated
