The urgent care center at Grand View Health’s High Point Medical Office Building involved the repurposing of an existing radiation oncology treatment center. The area of the former cancer treatment center was 7,665 square feet of which 5,950 square feet was renovated for the urgent care and the balance of the space will be used for other future purpose.
The urgent care center includes six exam rooms, four existing and two new, from space used as former office.
The simulation room was converted to an audio, a radiology room, film processing was converted to the urgent care laboratory area, and the entire space was renovated with new cosmetic materials on the floor, walls, and ceilings.
