Springpoint Senior Living’s Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare project is featured in the Spring 2019 Environments for Aging Design Showcase. The annual publication features projects demonstrating innovative and creative designs for an aging population. The awarding jury evaluated projects on innovation, community collaboration, aesthetic, and operational performance.

“The space planning and scale of the interior spaces for Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare is very successful. It is clear that the design team collaborated with operations to address resident wellbeing, efficiency of care delivery, and the healthcare issues that are critical in skilled nursing facilities.  Promoting wellness was an important design goal that has been achieved throughout the building. The access to daylight and window selection is done quite well, and the European showers and niches are a nice residential touch that support each residents’ functional competence as well as their autonomy.” ~2019 Jury 

Designed by Noelker and Hull Associates, Inc., the new two-story, 87,594-square-foot rehabilitation and healthcare center has a dedicated short-term rehab unit, memory support unit, and two long-term care units. The facility offers 120 skilled nursing beds with semi-private and private rooms, incorporating four separate nursing “neighborhoods” comprised of 30 beds.
