Noelker and Hull provided master planning and architectural and interior design services for the new, recently completed 240-bed, 136,629-square-foot replacement nursing facility, known as Centre Care.
The new 240-bed facility replaced the existing Centre Crest in Bellefonte and the residents of Centre Care in Bellefonte will begin moving into the new building later this month.
The new health care center offers traditional long-term care, as well as four specialty neighborhoods – (1) a high acuity, (2) memory support, (3) short-term rehabilitation and (4) private pay. The design includes larger resident rooms, physical therapy services, chapel, beauty barber, a gift shop, and outdoor gathering spaces for residents and family.
