Noelker and Hull is proud to have been involved in three of the six award winning property improvement projects given by the Cumberland Valley Business Alliance. The awards were given as part of the Economic Development Breakfast at Green Grove Gardens on Thursday, July 21, 2022. The Noelker and Hull projects recognized for outstanding real estate improvements were:

Franklin County Housing Authority [up to $150,000]

Noelker and Hull renovated an existing 3,900 SF community center which included interior demolition and new construction in the existing community room, classroom, offices and restrooms. A more secure entrance vestibule and new kitchenettes were added along with new interior finishes for flooring, ceilings and paint throughout. Improvements were also made to the existing HVAC system and lighting. The original community center was constructed in 1967 and a community room was added in 1996. These much needed improvements gave the 55 year old facility new life. The Community Center is home to First Start Partnership as well as a new Family Center.

Premier HVAC Services [$1M to $5M]

Premier HVAC is a growing local business.  To meet this growth, Premier needed additional administrative office space, training facilities, and warehouse space. This adaptive re-use project converted a former 12,600 SF antique mall for use as offices and a storage shop for Premier HVAC. Renovations included construction of new 1st floor offices and a new infill structure for 2nd floor offices and training room. Additionally, the 1st floor was renovated as shop and storage space. Exterior improvements to increase curb appeal were new clerestory and infill windows, metal siding, canopies, overhead doors and signage. The renovations to this historic brick structure met the needs of the growing company with a unique and distinctive space.

Franklin County, PA Government for the Franklin County Judicial Center [$10M and up]

Noelker and Hull worked with the Franklin County Commissioners and design architect Silling Associates on the construction of a new 106,456 SF courthouse adjacent to the historic 1865 courthouse. The Franklin County Judicial Center, completed in November 2021, houses six Court of Common Pleas courtrooms (with the ability to convert a jury assembly room into a seventh courtroom in the future, if needed); Judges’ chambers and space for supporting staff; the Sheriff’s Office with detainee holding cells and a secure sally port; Clerk of Courts and Prothonotary offices. Part of the multi-faceted Franklin County Court Facility Improvement Project, the design focused on improving the safety and security of court and county buildings, collocating scattered county offices, and improving efficiency of court and county operations.

Congratulations to all the winners for outstanding real estate improvements in 2021.
