Noelker and Hull Associates, Inc. provided architectural and interior design services for multiple additions and renovations to an existing church and school. The main infill addition of 9,312 SF was constructed between two existing wings of the building and includes a new main entry lobby and coffee lounge on the first floor, and a large gathering and social space on the second floor between the existing gym and worship space.

A new stair addition gives students direct access to the gymnasium and classrooms below without having to enter into the public spaces. A modest addition to the nave provides additional room for a new sanctuary apse and expanded window bays that hold reclaimed stained glass windows.

The project incorporates 32,052 SF of modifications to the existing building that includes rotating the main axis of the nave 90 degrees, building a new sanctuary platform, installing new radial seating, adding an interior loft that holds the pipes for a new pipe organ, and providing new finishes and lighting throughout. Other renovations include measures to increase security between students and the public and to increase the natural light in the existing church hall.
