COVID-19 Tool Kit

Provides design guidance and resources to the built environment

In early March 2020, with the COVID-19 crisis having a greater impact on our daily routines, Noelker and Hull Associates, Inc.’s team of architects and interior designers began development of the changes that would be necessary in our work routines and the built environment to keep our staff and clients safe.

Our staff includes Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Accredited Professionals, an EarthCraft Building Professional, and serves on the American Society of Interior Designers’ Adaptive Living Taskforce, which is identifying, studying, examining, and vetting research, data, and information concerning the COVID-19 pandemic as is relates to design and construction.

Building on our focus of designing healthy and sustainable buildings, we reevaluated how our designs respond to different levels of environmental concerns, including physical barriers, internal circulation paths, material and furniture selections, and the mechanical delivery of conditioned air. In an office-wide collaborative effort of sharing knowledge, experiences, and resources, we developed a tool kit for the built environment, a reference guide of strategies to reduce the risk of disease transmission.

Each project is unique and there is no one single solution that will effectively limit the potential for disease transmission. Please reach out to talk with our team about the best strategies for your project. Visit our COVID-19 Resource page for a free download.
