The annual publication features projects demonstrating innovative and creative designs for an aging population. The awarding jury evaluated projects on innovation, community collaboration, aesthetic, and operational performance.
Located in Frederick, Maryland, the new independent senior living community campus provides a 100+ acres tranquil setting with walking paths, and a “Beaux Arts” style boulevard running the full length of the site. The independent living apartment building, named “The Lodge,” is a four-story, 297,000-square-foot complex providing an integrated community center.
