As principal, Bob is responsible for programming, design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. His 36 years of experience includes major public and private school and higher education projects, with specific experience in design for visual and performing arts. He specializes in designing functional, collaborative, and sustainable educational spaces that make a positive impact on students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community.
Bob is also knowledgeable in the areas of civic building and commercial office design, review, and code compliance. His project portfolio includes libraries, public safety facilities, and food service facilities.
As a LEED Accredited Professional, he is familiar with optimization strategies for high-performance and green building construction.
Bob is an active participant in ASBO’s Spring Conference and has served on the Maryland Department of Education committee for public school classroom design standards.
