As part of the on-going process to transform the previous county nursing facility for Centre County to a non-profit entity, the client decided to build a replacement 240-bed nursing facility. The 3-story building based on a household model offers long-term care, high acuity, memory support, short-term rehabilitation and private pay. The design includes large resident rooms with European showers, physical therapy, chapel and a kidney dialysis suite.
