As an owner’s representative for Penn State Health (PSH), Noelker and Hull provided professional interior design services in collaboration with PSH, Highmark Inc., and AE7 for this family practice. The planning included the interior architecture, materials, and finishes, as well as professional services for the design and procurement of the furniture, fixtures, and equipment, artwork and photography packages. A phlebotomy lab and physical therapy gym with a dedicated private exam room are part of this practice. Notable features throughout the building include: PSH’s branded Nittany Lion paw print to aid in passive wayfinding; custom check-in/out stations; and the selection and use of a calm and soothing color palette. Bright and cheerful accents were used in the children’s waiting nook along with artwork and photography adorning the walls of the corridors, exam rooms, consult room and private check-out room.
