Universal Health Services of Delaware, Inc. repositioned The Meadows, its adolescent and adult program in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania, to a user-friendly, home-like environment for improved patient experiences and outcomes.
The phased campus renovations involved five buildings. Building A includes admissions and administrative areas as well as allied therapy. Building B contains two short-stay units, one for children and the other for adolescents. Building C was expanded to create two “swing units” to serve either adult or adolescent populations as demographics demand. Building D is a short-stay adult unit, and Building E is an adult stabilization unit.
