The chapel at Penn State Erie, Behrend College, in Erie, Pennsylvania, stands along the main pedestrian route through campus and has become an important landmark for students and staff. In addition to religious services, seminars, classes, and social gatherings are commonly held in the chapel’s 150-seat worship space.

Ancillary spaces include a large meeting room, offices, and an inviting central common public staircase that acts as both an informal meeting space and circulation to the worship space. The bell tower stands 80 feet tall and is visible from most points on campus.
