The St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church congregation chartered in 1894 has grown steadily over the years. Situated along the campus of SpiriTrust Lutheran Village of Luther Ridge in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, the 7,690-square-foot addition and renovation of the existing church facility included a new gallery and front entrance. The front entrance was designed to centralize the building ingress/egress and relocate the church offices to the front of the building, directly adjacent to the new entry. In addition to the offices and gallery, a new chapel was added to accommodate small scale church activities, services, and events. An important aspect of the design was the enlargement of the nave to accommodate additional parishioners. The expanded seating count allows for 293 people to attend a service.
