This project included the renovation of an existing classroom and shop space at Washington County Technical High School, for two programs. The first program renovated the former masonry shop to provide a machine learning shop, with simulation, welding and shop machinery stations, and an adjoining classroom. The second program was the creation of a system networking and IT security center in former shop space, with a simulated data center in which students could work with networking hardware and systems, surrounded by classrooms and computer lab stations. This section features a raised flooring system to allow rapid reconfiguration and to reduce cabling clutter. HVAC and lighting systems were updated for the new uses.
