The new 44,343-square-foot, 40-bed skilled care and rehabilitation center, located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, is a skilled nursing facility that features resident-centered care for long-term nursing and short-term rehabilitation patients.

Noelker and Hull provided architectural and interior design services through construction administration for a new 43,205 SF, 40-bed skilled care and rehabilitation center. The skilled nursing facility is a resident-centered care model that contains two houses of 15 beds each and a 10-bed house for short-term rehabilitation. Each of the three neighborhoods contain private rooms and are centered around a social core with living, dining, activity, and spa spaces. The facility includes a new therapy gym that provides both in-patient and out-patient care.

The new skilled care and rehabilitation center was built adjacent to the personal care residence with a connecting walkway to make it easier for travel between the two levels of care.
